Our story

Quiet things, made for the way you actually live.

Soft Existence began with a simple wish: that the objects we reach for every day could feel as considered as the rooms they live in.

Soft Existence
01How it started

It began with one honest object.

Soft Existence started at a kitchen counter, with a storage jar that worked perfectly and still felt like clutter. We kept asking the same quiet question: why should the useful things be the least beautiful?

So we started again — choosing objects for how they feel in the hand, how they sit on a shelf, and how easily they disappear into a calm, well-lived room.

02What we believe

Calm is something you can design for.

We believe a home shouldn't shout. The things you live with every day — the basket by the door, the candle on the table, the jars on the shelf — should lower the volume of a room, not raise it.

Warm tones, soft forms and honest materials do quiet work. They make a space feel held rather than styled.

03How we make things

Patiently, and never more than needed.

Every piece is considered before it's made — the weight, the finish, the way light falls across it. We edit hard, keep what earns its place, and leave the rest out.

Nothing is designed to impress at a glance. It's designed to keep feeling right, season after season.

04The way you actually live

Made for real days, not staged ones.

Our pieces are built for the rooms you genuinely use — the busy pantry, the crowded shelf, the evening table after a long day. They're meant to be touched, moved, lived around.

Beautiful enough to leave out. Soft enough to live with. That's the whole idea.

What we hold to

A few quiet principles behind everything we make.

01

Considered design

Nothing arbitrary. Every form, weight and finish earns its place before it earns a shelf.

02

Made to be lived with

Pieces that look better used than untouched, softening gently into the rhythm of a home.

03

Quiet quality

Honest materials and patient making — quality you feel in the hand before you read it on a label.

04

Warmth over noise

We choose calm over clamour — warm tones, soft edges and a little space to breathe.

A home shouldn't ask for attention. It should hold you — quietly, beautifully, every ordinary day.
